Scrap Car Network has thousands of scrap car collection partners all over the UK bidding on your vehicle. That's how we get the best price possible.
1 Get an instant quote for scrapping your old car.
Simply enter your car registration number and postcode to get an instant quote for your scrap car. If you wish to go ahead with your personal quote, then enter further contact details and tell us where the scrap car is located to help us prepare you the best quote possible! We’ll then contact you to arrange collection…which is free!
2 Arrange a convenient time for us to collect your old scrap car.
Pick a day and either an AM (07:00 - 12:00) or PM (12:00 - 17:00) slot for collection. We can't guarantee a specific time but the driver will call when he's 30 minutes away. If you’ve got the DVLA paperwork (the V5 [log book] or SORN) for your scrap car, this is the time to hand that over to our representative.
3 Your car is recycled and helps support the Recycling Lives welfare charity.
If your car’s still in a roadworthy condition, we’ll try and find a buyer for it. If the car’s unsuitable to be reused, we’ll remove any car parts that we can reuse and sell those on. We’ll then recycle the rest of the car in an authorised treatment facility so we can get money for the scrap metal. And remember, because Scrap Car Network contributes funding towards Recycling Lives – social welfare charity – scrapping your car is not just good for the environment, it also helps us to support disadvantaged and homeless people .
